Meet Deborah Frost

Deborah Frost Information

To capture a photo is to seize and preserve an exact moment or experience in time.

I enjoy capturing the bright colors of full-bloom flowers and awe-inspiring sunsets, close-ups of the natural world, and sharing a make-you-smile moment that unexpectedly peeks out of a routine day (such as Pig in the Washer…look closely and you will see his snout and eyes).  My journey with photography began in 2002 during an Alaskan cruise.  I recognized and experienced the concept of visual enchantment as I observed with amazement the turquoise icebergs and crusted whale flukes that towered into the air.  I try to locate and record a similar enchanting quality from the sites, scenes, and subject matter I photograph.

Sharing from the Heart:  I am particularly fond of capturing the macro world overlooked by the naked eye.  Butterflies and insects are created with precision detailing.  The sight and sound of flowing water or dry leaves twirling playfully midair draw my attention to the interwoven intricacy of the creation that surrounds us.  Single ice crystals are fascinating.  Each individual photograph is like one individual puzzle piece or tapestry thread.  Multiplied thousands of times over and interlocked, they reveal a vista and enormity we can’t fully comprehend.  Like ourselves, the world and universe are fearfully and wonderfully made

Inner Creek Photography and Creative ArtsI named my creative endeavor Inner Creek Photography and Creative Arts, with the tagline, where Living Water and pools of reflection flow together.  You are invited to enter in and enjoy this realm.  The website  Innercreekphotography.com hosts a variety of photos available for purchase, including a growing supply of stock photos for use in newsletters or professional publications/presentations.

I am continuing to grow an Inner Creek Photography line of photo-based merchandise.  Current products include the freestanding “Photo Slices, small art to brighten your day” (back), photo puzzles (back left), stand-up desk calendars (center left), photo magnets (front left), computer mousepads (front), pocket calendars (center left), and luggage tags (center right).  You will find the Innercreek page linked to the blog page debfrostwrites.com, a busy corner where philosophy, reflections about spiritual life, and interesting news links all intersect…drop in, and you won’t be sorry you did!
